Associate Vice President for Digital Transformation

Professor of Computer Engineering Lothar Thiele serves as Associate Vice President for Digital Transformation. In this role, he works with the Office of the President to ensure that the university takes a forward-looking approach to digital transformation.

About Professor Lothar Thiele
Lothar Thiele is a Professor of Technical Computer Science in the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at ETH Zurich. His research focuses on cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things, embedded systems and evolutionary algorithms. He was appointed representative for digital transformation by the Executive Board at the beginning of November 2017.
